Endless banana marshmallow

The Endless series seeks to maximize all the flavors the ingredients have to offer by being waterless. This liquid dessert was made by combining ripe Cavendish bananas with caramelized local honey, then aging it on dried Mysore bananas and a special blend of oaks. Added marshmallow.

I took precisely two photos at the Pips party yesterday. The welcome drink and the Kenosha skyline from the rooftop.

What a lovely time with friends old and new. Saw some folks I haven’t seen since the before times. The standout for me was the raspberry sips. Some lovely things were shared but honestly I was just so happy to see so many faces I haven’t seen in such a long time all at once. Great day with great people. Fear took all the date night pics.

Endless Dark Ritual, a waterless mead with blackberries, black currants, and black raspberries. So freaking good. Also re-upped on my cans of the pineapple habanero and Florida lychee session meads.

I’m not a fan of root beer but this is delicious. The spices are well balanced and the rum barrel works very well. I’ll take 5 more bottles please.

Didn’t post anything but the sound infused mead, but we had a good time at the Second City member party. The Orange Dreamsicile session mead is great. Came home with a bottle of 4th Friday and the new batch of Sphere of Influence. Was glad to share that event with my mom.

First time at Honeytree. The world needs more dive meaderies. This place is like if Cellarmen’s had just a little femenine touch. They hosted a krampus party but they also have coffee tables full of salt lamps, pine boughs and dried citrus. They sell honey and bird feeders but the place is dim and quiet and they are paired with a punk rock burger truck. And the mead is good. When we were reading on how they limited their meads to fermenting with ale yeast only I asked why limit yourself, but the meads are executed perfectly to a one. Easy drinking, no flaws. Mostly dry but the Apple Pie session is a knockout. Would hang out here if this was my local spot.
