Pastries, baked goods, and donuts thread

This place rules, it's like a block from where my sister lives and we go almost every time we visit. Great gin cocktails too.
The atmosphere in there is fantastic, too. Much preferred it to the nightclub vibe in Bavette’s. Want to go back in winter when they are more likely to have pies other than chicken and steak but everything was fantastic.

The pop tart I had at Iron Rooster in Baltimore is the best pop tart I've ever had by a mile.
This one didn’t come with a scoop of fresh whipped cream but easily gave it a run for its money. Light pastry, good filling. Not as big but the Iron Rooster can be split 2-4 ways and this one from Peace of Cake in Stevensville feeds 1-2. I felt slightly overserved eating a whole one myself but I had it maybe an hour after my Honduran chicken lunch.

Have you had had the kouign amann at Mindy's? Worth a stop if Mrs. FUCK is in town with her mom or should we stick the the Bao's suggestion for this specific pastry.
We keep missing it. We had a long day Wednesday so we picked up our apple cake close to closing and they were almost out of everything not preorders. The lemon crinckle I got was awesome though.

The kougin amanb La Boulangerie has at the Christkindlemarkt this year looks… interesting. I am still going to try it but it was topped with some other cuts of pastry and it confused the hell out of me. I am never mad about anything I get from there, though.
