What are you cooking???

Looking to fry up some chicken for Sunday’s game.I’d like to try making some Nashville hot chicken. Anyone have a good recipe?

Great call. I’m doing the same. I was going with this one based on the pics alone. Looks perfect from my perspective.

Game day fare -

jalapeno corn bake, garlic blue cheese dip, various meats and cheeses, smoked pulled pork, smoked tri tip, make your own scratch dough pizza station, scratch made poppers, walking tacos or as I call them handheld frito pie, and then some desserts - triple berry pie, Amish fry pies and my favorite shoo fly pie(s) one heavy dark and the other mild for the newbs.

Let’s do this.

First time I've cooked hamburgers at home in probably 15years. Wife brought home some 80/20 brisket slider patties. Which is really odd for her because she generally refuses to buy red meat. Anyway, decided to make smash sliders out of them inside on a griddle.

Holy crap they were tasty.
Holy fuck it smoked up the house.

I haven’t had burgs at home in forever. I eat at BA every other week so I don’t really need to. But also I could go for a proper Michigan olive burg. Or, I will be in Michigan next weekend and can just get one. Too early to be hangry.

I see you typing in English, but it's not the same thing.
BA= Burgers Anonymous?
WTF is an olive burg?

Burger Antics, on the most recent “other site” it was prominently featured in the Burger thread.

An olive burger is a mid-michigan thing, popularized because green olive salad resembles Michigan State’s Green and White. There is a great burger pub across from campus that serves up mugs of Bell’s and juicy cooked to order olive burgers on pumpernickel buns, and one of those with an Oberon is a purely nostalgic nom for me. ☺
