Just sweet enough (at least one person here said it was not what they look for in a mead), smells like laphroaig, but it’s really well balanced.Go on...

Kinda stoked to learn the Hobbit is still in business.So... The Hobbit Cafe is a super kitschy little jaunt (did I do that right?) near our temporary apartment in Houston. It has decent food, but a pretty great mead list.
They also do some decent in-house meads... including an earl gray mead that I probably shouldn't have let my 1st grader try because she now requests it on a regular basis.
It is a fun place to take little Tolkien fans. We love the Thai place that is walking distance and find ourselves getting Thai with a post meal mead about once a week.Kinda stoked to learn the Hobbit is still in business.

I still can't get over that Lord Jim and also The Rebuttal just sit on shelves.
