I got back into cards this year in part by learning about the Larry David signed cards in Topps Series 1. It wasn't mentioned that there were only 25 of them in the IG post I saw about it. Anyway, I started mostly buying singles and a few packs or boxes here and there. Only had a few hits for Topps Series 1 this year but I decided to grab a 2024 Series 2 blaster after chatting with the owner of my LCS. I likely pulled from it the biggest W I'll ever have from it:
Been trying to figure out what to do with it since I got the redemption about two months ago. I'm a Cubs fan but would rather have a Tucker auto on a Cubs card and the only thing about Travis Scott I like is a few Jordan 1s. It is not numbered and also not findable on 130point. Oddly after searching for comps for weeks there are now three of these on eBay. One for auction starting at $3600 and two BINs at 5K obo. I do not think they will get $5 but still holy shit. I am tempted to list it at starting price 1K and let the bidders decide from there.
I also have gotten into a few (other) non-sports autos. Shelly and Bobby from Twin Peaks is my best one currently.
Grabbed a random select box at meijer today. Never hit anything huge out of retail but figured why not. Hit this guy. First ever 1/1 for me. No clue on value but may just hold onto it.
It’s not a patch it’s just a different design on the card. Yeah couldn’t believe I pulled it. Will put it in a one touch and keep an eye on eBay comps. They’re all over the place for other select 1/1s.
#1 also being his jersey number will also fetch a premium. Wouldn't be surprised if that fetched a $ number with a comma in it.Grabbed a random select box at meijer today. I have a number in my head that I’d take for it, and it does have a comma in it. Just based off some quick math and guessing.

I would not recommend hanging on to this! I'm going to a LCS at lunch to get a better case for it, then it hits ebay. With my luck dude will blow out his knee in training camp so I want to cash in while I can.
I'm thinking about throwing it on there for $1,800 and I'll take $1,200. Other select black 1/1s are around 2k and 3k. I could be way off but I already have some offers around $800 for it.
Sold for $1350. I’ll make around $1200 after fees. Not bad for a $30 box.
