tasty but far from what holy mountain can do.
Not bad overall for as old as it is. Brewed in 09 then 18ish months in BT barrels I believe. Decent carb. Still some barrel character. Slightly thin in mouth feel. Tastes of figs, raisins, and chocolate w some oxidization. I felt it was solid overall but not great and on the downhill. Like a cheaper less in your face/interesting version of the old school BC barleywines before the infection issues. I have never tried the newer release of this.how is that drinkin? i still got a couple bottles

I did and now I hate myself for spending $50 on a can
Thanks iong516 ! The can says English, but I’m definitely getting some old hops there too (what I think of as American) - which I’m fine with - love it, thanks!

So this is my first time ever using Tavour. I tried, almost made it to the finish line, then the app got all glitchy and closed. Then when it reloaded, the only option was to add to waitlist, but when I pressed that button, it said I already had one in my cart. However, it was not showing up in the cart. To see if it would somehow magically appear in my cart, I added some shitty IPA that I don't actually want, and now the only thing in the cart is that shitty IPA. So I guess I'll be getting a box with a single can of IPA in a month.
It's absolutely the fate that I deserve.
$65 for a 16 oz can makes me feel much better about ~$25 for my 22 oz bottle of B4K.
SIXTY FIVE DOLLARS. You duders are crazy.
All this money I'm not spending on restaurant food, gas, valet parking, airfare, hotels etc. is burning a hole in my pocket.
Does it make it better if I add on a bunch of other beers I don't actually want so that I get a "better deal" on shipping?![]()
Ultimately, only your spouse can judge you.
