Going to be in Phoenix over the weekend. Any brewery, wine , or restaurant suggestions appreciated!

Also open to any thoughts on locations selling stone or native wares? Record stores as well.

Will be in Tucson this upcoming weekend, if anyone has any beer/food/or other recs. Going down there for a class, so should have a good bit of time in the evenings. Any suggestions appreciated.

My wife and I enjoyed El Charro Cafe for Mexican food. We also went to Slow Body brewing and it was a cool place. My wife enjoyed her IPA. No kitchen, but looked like they sometimes had food vendors.

Any Phoenix recs for beer or food? Won’t be doing any drinking on this trip but I can lug beers back if there’s anything I should pick up.

We’ll be staying downtown right by the convention center.

Phoenix is my least favorite American city I’ve visited. Sadly I’m going there next week.

This got me thinking...it's really hard to pick out a city that I don't like because you can have fun in pretty much any city for at least a few days. Phoenix is not my favorite, and I'm not a big desert guy, but Phoenix has so much golf and pretty good food.

If you pressed me, I'd probably have to say St. Louis, but I had plenty of fun there too. Dallas would probably be in the running as well.

These are not close to where you are staying, but Richardson's and Dick's Hideaway for New Mexican food. Pizzeria Bianco is worth the hype.
Here's my little Phoenix restaurant map that I made a couple years ago. A little Scottsdale heavy if memory serves because that's where we were staying.
