In Tucson yesterday, we ate at The Parish. Mostly twists on New Orleans dishes, but they had a goat cheese chile relleno that blew my mind. Simply delicious. Everything else we had was nice as well.

That looks amazing. Drunk me is wishing I had that and a side of good fries right now.












And maybe a pizza being delivered soon after

My wife and I enjoyed El Charro Cafe for Mexican food. We also went to Slow Body brewing and it was a cool place. My wife enjoyed her IPA. No kitchen, but looked like they sometimes had food vendors.

The only thing I know about Phoenix beer is that Wren House is a great brewery.

This got me thinking...it's really hard to pick out a city that I don't like because you can have fun in pretty much any city for at least a few days. Phoenix is not my favorite, and I'm not a big desert guy, but Phoenix has so much golf and pretty good food.

If you pressed me, I'd probably have to say St. Louis, but I had plenty of fun there too. Dallas would probably be in the running as well.

These are not close to where you are staying, but Richardson's and Dick's Hideaway for New Mexican food. Pizzeria Bianco is worth the hype.
