(A) Thanks for the lead on Wine Bid, started grabbing few bottles from the vintages I wanted.
(B) This is a really good Cab/Zin blend from two of my favorites in Texas. Lewis Dickinson is a legend in the natural wine world, and Bill Blackmon and William Chris really kick started the resurgence of good wine in Texas. Great way to end the summer before school starts tomorrow.

Austin hope Cabernet Sauvignon
Really unique Chardonnay and the first bottling of one of Patrick Desplats’ prodigies. Made in the style of Georgian wines, so long skin contact in buried qvevri. Floral, dry, lively, complex. Really fantastic stuff.
Ganevat negoce pinot noir - Alsace grown, Jura vinified. Another beautiful wine by Ganevat. Blackberry, cherry, wet stone, very balanced.
Local-ish producer to me that is absolutely killing it. Husband wife duo whose labels are Scar of the Sea and Lady of the Sunshine respectively. Doesn’t hurt that they are some of the nicest people in the industry. Whole cluster spice, salinity, and high toned red fruit. Seek them out if you can!

He and his sister put out a large number of negoce wines each year relative to his domaine wines; very often good, and usually at a pretty accessible cost compared to his domaine wines. Highly recommend.
Another absolute gem from the Burgundy micro producer Domaine Dandelion. A pet nat of Pinot Noir and Gamay. Vibrant, tropical, and way too easy to drink.

Love Dandelion. Have had some stunners with a few excessively buggy bottlings mixed in. Comes with the territory! The Tome lottery prepared me well for the world of natty wine
Early birthday dinner. So light on its feet and high toned for Cornas. Allemand never disappoints!

Charles de Gaulle’s preferred champagne, and for good reason! Bright, well balanced, honey, brioche, and sesame on the palate. For $50/btl it’s an easy buy and a bit of a sleeper - don’t tell everyone.
