Streaming is the hotness.

Finally Amazon is doing something with Stargate. New Prime series. Original creators back as consulting producers too. Oh and it's a continuation not a reboot (which is what everybody wanted).

I hope it's in the style of sg-1 vs all the new, sexy/flashy sci-fi shows. Sg1, tng, voyager all had a goofy charm that is rare AF nowadays.

Me too. The dude that's the showrunner came from Stargate Atlantis as a staff writer I believe so he knows what's up.

I just want something to fill that same 90s Trek/X-Files/Buffy sized hole in my heart. Give me "monster of the week" with an overarching story that doesn't need to be even touched on weekly. I'm sick of everything having to be one long story over 10 episodes honestly.

Heck SG-1 basically became Star Trek later into the series when they got the USS George Hammond online.

Yes. This is exactly what I'm talking about. It's also so much better for watching re-runs.

I can’t even tell you how satisfying it was on tonight’s episode of Pluribus it was when she pointed out that one of the people fixing her house was the mayor… and it actually fucking was the real mayor of Albuquerque playing that character. Heh. I fucking love New Mexico.

Jacksonville Jaguars Wtf GIF

I want to see Aaron Paul in more shit but this is probably a good indication of why that doesn’t happen.

She's also apparently a fucking nightmare on set per some Poker Face crew people hence if it comes back she's getting recast with Peter Dinklage
I couldn’t figure out why she was in Fantastic 4 for 1 scene but I’ll watch Russian Doll any time they want to make me more.

IT: Welcome to Derry seriously has the best horror CGI I’ve ever seen.

How much did they spend on this?!

The scene with the dad’s head in a pickle jar. That looked like $20M. Just crazy good stuff as far as VFX animation goes.

I first watched Pluribus 6 days ago and I have now watched the pilot 4 times. Like, what show freaks you out by portraying helpful people competently putting out a fire?
Watched a very cool video with predictions on what the endgame of this show likely is if anybody is interested:
