Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" got a second life in '07 thanks mostly to The Sopranos. Metallica and Kate Bush were catapulted back into the charts a few years back because of Stranger Things. Radiohead's "Let Down" got hugely popular last year, 28 years after OK Computer, because of its frequent use in TikTok videos.

What I can't figure for the life of me is why THREE former hits from AC/DC are hitting the charts now in 2026. "You Shook Me All Night Long," "Thunderstruck," and "Back in Black" are all soaring right now. WTF did I miss?

I was thinking about something like this yesterday... Korn & Limp Bizkit are apparently very popular with the youths now. Why? I heard Break Stuff twice yesterday against my will.

Probably my 8 year old crushing the AC/DC streaming numbers. Hell his baseball walk up music is Hells Bells. No idea where he came up with wanting to listen to them.

Wes Borland is a legend.

I've somehow seen three of his bands live

Limp Bizkit was on the Summer Sanitarium tour with Metallica, Deftones, Linkin Park, and Mudvayne. Fred Durst and Mancow had some kind of weird beef and the latter talked shit about Limp Bizkit for weeks leading to fans booing and throwing shit on stage. Supposedly a battery hit Durst. They walked off stage.

Big Dumb Face at Metro because my friends were going. Insane live show. I still listen to Duke Lion Fights the Terror. Fightin Stance would probably be my baseball walk up song.

Black Light Burns (along with Danny Lohner and Josh Freese) at House of Blues Chicago with Sevendust and 10 Years. They didn't fit on the bill at all. Was not a great set.

TikTok. That’s always the answer.

Happy 25 years of the greatest movie ever, Josie and the Pussycats

I read some snippets of this article earlier. I'm not saying it's right, but this just sounds like a new way of doing the same shit the music industry has been doing forever.

Industry always had a large who you know component to it, this is just more of the same.

All that viral campaigning though and I still don't know the difference between Geese and Goose.
I'll admit to this as well. I have no idea what all this shit was and I tried to look it up and am still in the dark here.

I am sure I will be severely underwhelmed if I ever bother to actually put any more energy into figuring it out.

Goose is a very polarizing jam band. To me, they're like Temu Phish. Canned, emotionless jamming that, despite trying several times, does not do it for me at all. They're talented, but I find them boring.

Geese is a super interesting art-rock (I don't know how else to describe them) band that you should definitely see. Check out their album 3D Country from 2023. Their new single, Taxes, is also really good and I hope a leading indicator of another great album from them.

I'm fairly confident you'd hate both
