The Great Woods (Xfinity) shows so far have been really good (my first since the Fenway shows in 2019). YEM set opener and 2001 in the same set pretty much made my run regardless of what they play tonight. Got a bit too high and too overheated last night but will be going sober tonight with more water.

I lucked out on the mail order this time with the best seats I have ever had at this venue (dead center about 15 rows back from the pit).

I read that more as they sold more Friday and Saturday tickets and they want more time to get people out than “two secret sets”. But I’ll be happy to be wrong.

Plus shuttles still leave 60 minutes after the concert.

I got home from a week away on Friday, so I knew I was skipping Fr/Sa Alpine for sure...considered going up and back on Sunday, but was just too tired.

Anyway, My Friend from Friday is as good as advertised.
