IMO, Schneider guessing that he was going to throw a fastball on the first pitch would be lucky for Schneider. Does that make it unlucky for Snell? I guess. Schneider still has to hit it though.I swear I'm not trying to pile on, I'm just trying to understand. This is such a strange interview.

Yeah I just don't think you hit the ball over the wall with luck. If you get blooped to death, that's another matter of course. But to say "not to make excuses.." and then proceed to call home runs "bad luck" is some galaxy brain coping on his part. The Jays got the best of him. No matter how good you are, it happens.
