Zero bitterness in my post. I’ve accepted defeat and moved on with my life. Toronto still has the fifth highest payroll in MLB. I’ve seen the narrative that the Jays are this little underdog team up against the Dodgers and they’ve also spent a good amount of money on their roster.

Not with Fisher there. I can’t imagine there will ever be an agreed on salary cap, but there definitely needs to be a league minimum outside of the penalty owners willingly pay.

I can’t imagine owners ever accepting any kind of minimum or floor without a ceiling.
