Look, The Bride! is terrible but in a misguided and clumsy way. It's not so bad that it somehow sets literary film adaptations back some decades and stains the source material as the Emerald Fennell/Margot Robbie Wuthering Heights did.

I’m surprised that Mr. Movies LurchingBeast hasn’t mentioned it but with Project Hail Mary completing an EIGHT WEEK theatrical window and Netflix moving Narnia to Feb 2027 and committing to a 48 day theatrical window… the loss of Warners might be slightly offset by the gain of 2 majors.
Amazon supported a 70MM IMAX release that even got a re-release 2 weeks after Mario Galaxy left theaters and almost equaled that film’s 6th week run in its’ 8th week.

I just saw it last night in Round Rock. There were 4 empty seats in a small theater at 630 on a monday night.

Yep. In town for a training course and it's right around the corner from my hotel. I loved the book, hadn't gotten a chance to see it yet with kids and travel. Up here solo for the week and was happy to see it was still being offered.
