I read this book and I never really saw as something I’d think Scorsese would direct. I’m also struggling to see where Plemmons, DeNiro, and DiCaprio fit given the source material.

Some friends and I rewatched the original Mortal Kombat movie this past fall. It was perfect to get hammered and watch together over the internet. This looks like it checks all those same boxes. Super pumped.

There is a Drive-In in PA not terribly far from me that does theme weekends and you can camp out over night. At some point this spring they are doing Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. I still haven't been but really need to get a group of people together to go once we are able to do that kind of thing again.
Here was the schedule for last year. If I lived closer I would be there constantly.

Cool they didn't go for the PG-13 rating. 13 year old Matey would have been sad not to be able to see this movie without the parents, but I don't think kids play Mortal Kombat anymore anyway.
