Maybe it's because his band sucks. Maybe its because he started a fucking cult around his shitty band.
Maybe it's because his Joker performance is shitty. Maybe it's because he was a piece of shit to his crew and co-stars on set and generally annoyed the fuck out of everyone.
Taken together, maybe Jared Leto is just an asshole that isn't worth our time and trouble. Lots of people do their jobs better than he does without doing what he does. Fuck that guy.

After this Vulture article popped up on Reddit this morning I *ahem* asked Fear to locate a copy of The Sweatbox so we watched that tonight. He swears he has never seen Emperor’s New Groove but I cannot imagine he has been married to me this long and not.
Sweatbox is good if you have an extreme interest in Emperor’s New Groove, how Disney movies get made, Sting, Eartha Kitt or David Spade.
Finally got to watch Sound of Metal. What an absolute fantastic movie. Weirdly, it reminded me a lot of Leave No Trace, which may be my favorite movie of the last few years.
The isolation that he experienced hits so hard right now and it’s so well done with the sound in the movie. As someone that has experienced difficulties with some hearing and has sat in those hearing booths multiple times (pretty much can’t understand anyone unless they are right front of me, otherwise it’s just noise, especially with any background noise), it was scary at times.
Lots of touches of Malick throughout the movie, which I thought was perfect given the subject.
Riz Ahmed gave what I thought was the best performance of the year and should be an Oscar frontrunner but guessing he won’t be even nominated.

that book was soooo bad.
but I’m sure the movie will focus on the interesting parts of the story, as opposed to the book which only did so for about 10% of its interminable pages.
