Snow melted so we did our midwinter trimming today. Wild amount of flower buds on the eldest pawpaw already but not counting fruits anytime soon. Hoping the trim today means I get at least one fruit to make it to harvest this year. Cleaned up the elderberry and black currant bushes today as well.

Productive Spring Break thus far…

Killed the grass on the back third or so of the backyard. My wife is going to turn it into a native area. Every year I’m getting rid of more and more grass.

Cleared out the garden from last year and planted a few things. Supposed to be 95 this weekend so I’m going to hold off on planting too much at the moment.

As usual… I have way too many seedlings. Will give most away, but I like to have a few extras in case the ones in the ground don’t make it for some reason.

Didn't find a way to use the shed this year for starting plants?
