College Basketball

I called Perry out for this during UCLA-IL…can’t stand the thing Cadeau does where if you put your hand out, he drives/shoots through it and flails.

I understand it’s a smart/NBA play, but it’s not fun basketball.

The end of this game was miserable. Timeout, commercial, break, commercial, timeout. Just interruption after interruption. Makes the end so slow.

lots of flagrant shoving with the off-arm to push defenders away last night

Lendeborg got away with the hold forearm in the upper back to shove the defender down before elevating for a rebound, too.

physical game but could have been 20 more fouls called, probably.

the biggest issue for UConn were the obvious and unnecessary fouls they were giving. They could've won this game if they stopped the silly reach ins and other bad decision fouls, not giving UM to many FTs. I'd say Michigan got the benefit of the calls that were made but UConn probably got the benefit of the calls that were missed, especially on the glass. But at least they slowed the whistle down for the majority of the second half.

Women's FF made this game seem like a polite game of croquet

Must be nice to be able to pay your best players to come back.

I don't love the system either but it is the system we are living under.

Their recruiters just hang out in former Yugoslavia hoping to find the next Jokić or Dončić?

Actually yeah. Same agent represents Nikola Jokic and all the dudes who announced they're returning yesterday.
