I had more time to read about this…

It’s currently only Disneyland although folks think Walt Disney World will follow shortly thereafter.

While Black Spire Outpost will all be Return of the Jedi to Mando set (so between 4-9ABY) the Resistance Base around Rise of the Resistance will remain in the sequel era (with the appropriate characters over there).

Characters that span eras like R2 and Chewy will roam between both. Oga’s Cantina will revert to earlier in the timeline in the story where it has just opened. Signage in the outpost will all be updated to reference the earlier timeline.

Millennium Falcon Smuggler’s Run is scheduled to change into a Mando & Grogu ride already this summer in line with the film release (already planned).

I like this plan honestly. I do think in a decade or so they’re going to fully redress Rise of the Resistance to the Original Trilogy but that’s going to be a giant cost to so. That’s a billion dollar ride, remember.

Way easier to make Smuggler's Run into an OT ride. I don't want them to do my boy Hondo dirty though

Way easier but it will make that ride timeless if/when they do it. I think the Sequel Trilogy is losing (or has lost) its' shine to theme park goers. Otherwise they wouldn't be spending the money to do all this stuff.

Walking into that land in 10 years I honestly think it might be more likely that you'd see something from the Prequel era than the Sequel Era. Especially with Mr. Clone Wars at the helm of Lucasfilm now. Gen Zs love the prequel era more than anything because they're little weirdos who like interstellar trade politics.

He needs a good editor and someone who knows how to tell him “NO” and reel him in when necessary. He gets lost in fanboy minutiae that most people don’t care about.

Filloni feels a bit too much like a case of the inmates running the asylum.

I really dig the whole Star Wars crime syndicate thing so I might be biased.

I was surprised by the amount of violence in the trailer but this is a man that literally is only alive because he channels rage through the Dark Side.

Been really enjoying some of the Star Wars: Tales Untold AI stuff. I think every video has flaws but I like the idea of feeding stuff from Legends into AI with drawn storyboards (which I believe is what they’re doing here) and seeing what happens since Disney seems to have zero interest in this stuff.
 


This guy is working on recreating Colin Trevorrow's Star Wars Episode IX: Duel of the Fates in AI. Hammil is in this 8 minute clip more than he was in the real Episode IX. Haha.

They really cut this opening? It's fucking neat.

There's a lot of real VFX in here, but dear lord it's crazy what nerds can do now. Really looking forward to the days of independent creatives making cinema quality movies, the same way Youtubers are making TV quality shows now. Yes, you'll have to dig through slop, but there is going to be a lot of quality projects from small teams.

There are really only a few scenes and the voice acting that stick out as not film quality.
