It's fairly late into the game before the bosses get difficult.Meanwhile I picked up Donkey Kong Bananza at 11pm on Saturday, looked up and it was 3am.
Got through about 6 layers. That game is very fun but the bosses are weak sauce. I can basically just beat the shit out of them in my Bonanza mode in 15 seconds at this point because I levelled up so much.
I don't understand why Zebras make ice cream or can walk on really thin bridges though. Are we sure pot is illegal in Japan?
I haven't even bothered to buy it based on the early footage and reviews. Which is quite disappointing.I got really bored with DK Bananza fairly quickly. It's neat but it gets so repetitive. Playing Metroid Prime 4 but it's just so... okay? It feels very dated. Cookie-cutter. The open desert zone is an absolute snooze.
I stopped trying to get all the bananas on every level and just am plowing through it. It seems to be a lot more fun that way.I got really bored with DK Bananza fairly quickly. There's a ton more bananas that become available after beating the final boss too. It was a fun play but I didn't decide to be a completionist about the bananasI stopped trying to get all the bananas on every level and just am plowing through it. It seems to be a lot more fun that way.
Anyone grab Marvel: Cosmic Invasion? Played the first couple levels last night and it scratches that X-men/Avengers/Spiderman arcade game itch.
I can see that. Doesn’t feel as “tight” as I’d like, but if I can have myself a little X-men game with Logan, Jean and Ororo I’ll bite. It’s on sale right now until the 15th if that matters at all.I love Streets of Rage 4, but TMNT: Shredder's Revenge is a little unsatisfying to me (the character animation is a little mushy if that makes sense). I am a little turned off on Cosmic Invasion for that reason, though I will probably buy it eventually.

I bought it on PS4. No PC master race here.On Steam, right? I'm still not PC Master Race, I am rocking a PS4 where it's full price. So no rush for me.
After that part in DK Bananza where you have to choose which way to go I thought the game was going to be close to over. After that my goal was just to get through each level. The novelty wore off after 20 hours of bashing things.I got really bored with DK Bananza fairly quickly. It's neat but it gets so repetitive. Playing Metroid Prime 4 but it's just so... okay? Happy with my PS4, Switch and a massive backlog.
Ok I definitely got to the “hard part” tonight. ImMeanwhile I picked up Donkey Kong Bananza at 11pm on Saturday, looked up and it was 3am.
