Sad to see this one go. A great pick from a local restaurant (RIP Rumpus Room) that sold most of the bottles for takeaway. 1840 Brewing then took the barrel and did some sort of barrel-aged something with it. I still have one bottle of that in my fridge.

Heading into the holidays now, and I need to buy my company bookkeeper a nice bottle of bourbon or rye for part of his holiday gift. Looking to spend somewhere between $250 and $500. Willing to pay somewhere above retail but below absurd museum prices. Any suggestions on anything that may be kicking around in November? Would love to get him a Russell's 13 or 15, but those seem pretty hard to come by.

I'd imagine it's more findable than most of the allocations. I saw Knob 18 a few times after it released.

Any chance they like Scotch? Cause then there is a whole new world of amazing you could get in on.
