Yes, silence was my preferred. The bottle on the left (vanished) is a recent release while the other two are apparently the last club allocation before it ended. All were very good and would happily drink again, but wish I could obtain in a much smaller format.

Yikes, I was in the structures club and I’ve never seen those barleywines - I have a horrible feeling I just forgot to pick up my last set of bottles. I was literally there in March too at the new spot.

Yes it’s good. Pulled through a sparkler for that proper head, massive Maris representing, English bitterness, barrel heat present, tiny bit of funk to keep things interesting. If I stayed and drank as much of this as I wanted, I wouldn’t make it home

Double Barrel B-Bomb, ‘Winter ale’ but we know it’s a barleywine at heart. 2 kegs only, 420 bottle count… expectations exceeded, surprising amount of body, huge barrel nose, a little brown sugar and molasses, a little peanut brittle
