Noticed this miniature had a low fill level, think the seal was shit and it was slowly evaporating over 2 years. Pretty sure this is a roughly 10 year old 100% ex-bourbon cask. It's so damn good

Wow, this stuff is hottttt. Definitely needs an ice cube. Nose is bakers spice and alcohol burn. So hot. Big spicy rye kick and marzipan. Wife brought a peanut butter cookie home from work and it paired very well.

I just finished the bottle I had for probably 2 years, and yeah, fresh is a big boy, but it settles into a really great place with some air time.

Went hunting myself today. Spotted a JD 10/12/14 but 179/199/299 was a bit steep.

I did snag one gem though, and for sub $100 at that.
