I think they (it’s a duo) mastered this from cassette because that’s what all the italo acts did back in the day. Kind of annoying tbh but the songs are still killer.

After having played through both discs, it sounds good except the needle return on side A - that is dished and it glided on the edge on the return. Disc 2 isn't as warped as disc1 and the music itself sounded crisp so I think it will be okay. The record color is not very blue at all but is a milky white, almost gray that matches with the album color. I wouldn't have notice it was supposed to be blue had I not noticed the sticker when I was doing the transfer to the outer sleeve. I tore the other sticker when opening the package so it is long gone. You are just going to have to recognize the album from the cover.

Sorry to hear that. This kind of shit is always super irritating.

On the plus side the color cover looks cooler that the original version. She should have gone with that in the first place.

I will have opinions on sound later (so far so good) but so far the light blue dinked edition is mostly milky white. And it did sit on my porch for at least an hour in 80+ deg heat. It is warped as shit. (Mikayla is unimpresse.gif)

Mine are decently warped too, so I doubt it’s the heat. Sound is terrific on these though.

Also nice to see Hayley and I have the same pool lounging outfit.

Oh I know. It has been a growing problem with 180 gram records I have noticed. The thicker vinyl warps easier than the lighter weight records.

For whatever reason I had never really listened to this Thrice album until recently but I really enjoyed it.

Beggars is the one I need to revisit. I really didn't care for it when it came out and I haven't gone back to it as of yet.
