Been making one of my occasional half-hearted efforts to immerse myself in the productions of Yasutaka Nakata. He's pretty much the missing link between Daft Punk and PC Music with his Capsule and Perfume projects being particularly influential on hyperpop. It's like 25 year's worth of very prolific output so it's a lot.
