Word on the street with my Universal friends is that Disney's contract with Universal Studios for Simpsons World (LA/Orlando) is up in 2028 and they're going to terminate if they don't negotiate over Marvel theme park rights east of the Mississippi (which Universal owns rights to most of the Avengers AND the main X-Men in perpetuity due to a bad contract signed in the 90s)
Just saying you might want to pen it in over the next 7 years if you want a Duff or Krusty Burger IRL. Disney absolutely wants nothing to do with the property in their theme parks but WILL terminate it to spite Comcast so they have to incur the cost of leveling and retheming the areas in 2 separate parks.
