It’s more like sleep, eat, beg for treats, beg for more treats, pretend to want to play then run to the food dish after 15 seconds, go outside for 3 minutes, bang on door to come inside and go straight to food dish, whine, WHINE, WHINE!!!! Sleep, eat, repeat.

Our cats are pretty chill. Very little whining. But they're strictly inside cats, so there's no discussion over going outside.

One of our young ones did recently, accidentally gain access to the garage and now he's doing a little whining to get another taste of that sweet, sweet psedo-freedom. I expect it will pass soon though.
 
We found Zoe as a tiny kitten 9 years ago. She's never quite become a "pet". It's ok, she'll take a few brief touches and doesn't cause any trouble. Until recently, when she got an ear infection. She's nearly impossible to handle. Pees and tries to rip all the skin off my arm. We can drug her to go to the vet, but I'm not going to keep her doped up for two weeks. 12/28 doses done. Pray for me.
