I would love to see Sweden V Netherlands (being that I’m 50% Dutch and 50% Swedish) but tickets alone are over 700 for shit seats and then hotel and flight costs would put us well over 2500 for a first round match.

I thought you meant for kids but honestly even for adults it's a safety thing (also, yes, a commercial thing too). Sports care way more about player's safety than they did when we were younger and not dying of dehydration when you are playing in 95 degree heat with 90% humidity is part of that. Also, these guys get water from the sidelines during injuries and other breaks anyway so just do a quick 1 minute break that you add back at the end of the half. I see no issue with it.

Probably should have thought about this sooner but if anyone is coming in, or knows someone coming in, for the Met Life games in July, I’m leaving for Southeast Asia June 30th. I have a one bedroom apartment that’s a 5 minute walk from the Passaic NJ Transit station and in theory would be a 10-15 ride to Met Life. The cats will be out at my parents.
