Think some sort of Survivor style pool where each participant chooses a team from each of the 4 pots and the best overall average results wins. Or something continental/federation maybe? Best NA/SA/Europe/Asia/Africa/Oceania

That's a good idea. I was going to give each kid a "budget" and then assign values to each of the teams based on Opta or FIFA rankings...maybe 3 points for a win, extra 3 for a group win, and then escalating point totals for each knockout round? I dunno.
 
Cristian Eriksen just collapsed again on pitch and the Denmark - Ukraine friendly was abandoned. Players from both sides distraught, but early word is that Eriksen is conscious/OK. Also hope he hangs it up because this is not worth it anymore. I wonder if he was saved by his ICD (or if he collapsed due to a malfunction of his ICD). Anyways, hope to hear good news about his health soon.
