I don't think this is a concern for the P-series but I've been noticing that my estimates are really off when I start long prints. Like for instance that mask I printed last week took 3 days but the original estimate was 3.5. Not something I super notice for my normal 4-6 hour prints.
Apparently Bambu baked timelapse camera movements into the G-code (where it moves to the docking position after every layer). Turning it off on an A-series printer removes the actual movement to that corner but the code is still in the G-code during the slicing process before that so it works its way into the estimate. It makes everything go 17% faster than the estimate when it's off thus taking time off print time every single layer (but, uh, not really? It's just a bad estimate.)
Just found that interesting. It almost seems like something they did on purpose (because every print comes off faster than the original estimate).
