Real Golf

Can't believe LACC membership allowed the US Open to be played there (and therefore permit Jews and minorities to walk the hallowed grounds). I have driven by it a million times. I also have a couple casual friends who are members, and one of my best friends is in process. I have obviously heard great things about the course. I would not play it if I were invited.

More like a quarter mill I think.

I believe they have some "junior member" program involving much lower initiation.

I have some wealthy close friends. And some uberwealthy close acquaintances. Went to a super-rich private high school. Made me feel poor even though I grew up upper-middle class/well off. Completely skewed my perspective. And ended up having less and less in common with the uber rich kids as we all got older. That probably would have been more appropriately posted in RTT or Mental Health thread or something.
