I recently started adding half of a small avocado in my daily lunch salad, and I have to say, it's quite delightful. Not sure why I never tried this before.

What are some to seek out?

Im just starting to dip my toes into it. I was just surprised to see fishwife at my local grocery store.

I should add that our Central Market HEB has an excellent aisle of tinned fish. Pretty sure their Houston locations should as well.

I like to just pick up randoms when I go shopping.

Yep. Started here in Austin as a direct competitor to that other Austin-based supermarket... Whole Foods. But they emphasize "the best ingredients" rather than organics.

It’s maybe what I miss most from living in Texas. When I first moved to PA, people talked about a Central Market and I was very excited but turns out it was just a farmers market/food hall downtown. It was a great letdown.
