Random Food Thoughts

I am so uninspired with cooking/meal planning these days. It's bad.
This is the biggest reason I still subscribe to physical cooking magazines. Flipping through usually gives me a few things I want to make without "the algorithm" telling me what I want. But, I've had some weeks where nothing was really exciting me but the biggest thing that has kept me from cooking is how ridiculously overpriced it is to get take out.
 
American being a cheese should probably go in the hot takes thread.

I found out a few weeks ago that there was a pop up doing “Detroit Style Pierogi” out of Solemn Oath in Chicago, basically across from Bungalow. They don’t pop up anywhere else. Aside from being a little slow to start, these are actuay fancier than anything I have ever had in Detroit and were absolutely worth the wait.
Fuck.
We’ll be back for any pop up we can make. These are damn good.
