Phish Thread

Anyone check out the Trey Trio shows? I'm thru the first set of night one, and I'm pleasantly surprised. Saw some negative reacts online (apparently some people walked out?), but those people are idiots.

Very funky & groovy. I dig it.

If you haven't at least listened to the Moma (and the Moma soundcheck) from night 2, do yourself a favor and track it down. Funky as hell.

Also, some of the new songs are cheesy as fuck, but the jams coming out of them are pretty tasty. Like, I almost skipped past "Spin" the other day, but powered thru the vocal part, and the jam is fucking nasty. Dezron really brings a totally different feel, and I am here for it.

Overall, I'm quite pleased with these shows. Still need to finish night 3.

Word. I think I need more from songs these days. Phish's (and related) jams used to be enough to carry me through much of their lyrics. I don't feel like I have the time for that anymore. We've decided to see other people.

Nutter Center is the spot. I would be heading to those shows if I wasn't going to be in Oregon.

I had tix to 12/5, 6, 7 - the day we were going to leave, a FedEx mailer was delivered with my MO tix for 12/30-31….so we drove to Cleveland, saw 12/5 and decided to sell the other tix and hang out with my brother in Cleveland instead. Love my brother, but….

97 was great but 95 Nutter Center is an all timer from shows I have been to. First set is full of fun and shorter bust outs (HaHaHaHa, The Curtain, an absolutely smoking Julius (don't sleep on it), Lizards, NICU, etc), and the second set is pure skull melt for me. If you haven't listened, then make it a priority. And if you have listened, listen again!
