What's good in Paris? Bonus points for lambic spots.

My #1 rec for someone who likes beer is Liquiderie, which is also a great wine place. Huge lambic selection.

Other recs:

Food:

• Cafe de la Nouvelle Mairie - this is our favorite spot, we go there every time we're there for a long lunch and lots of natural wine
• Pho Tai - France colonized Vietnam so I guess it makes sense that they have pho almost as good as any I had in Hanoi
• Frenchie / Le Clown Bar / Rooster par Federic Duca - all three of these are high end ($$$) but amazing
• Les Arlots - an absurdly good sausage
• Chez Aline - an absurdly good (takeaway) sandwich
• Les Papilles - another long leisurely lunch spot, they only have one thing on the menu each day and it's a 3 or 4 course thing and that's the only thing available

Beer:

• Hoppy Corner - good tap list usually, very friendly folks
• La Fine Mousse - often have some cantillon
• Brewberry - solid place for local stuff
• Brussels Beer Project - an offshoot of the place in Brussels, it's good

Ate at Aldehyde in the Marais last year and it was one of our favorite meals of all time. French-Tunisian.

Just had a 12 hour layover at CDG, so went into the city for a few hours. Had the best tartar and escargot of my life at L’Avant Comptoir de la Terre. Tbh I would have been extremly content spending the whole day sitting outside there drinking wine and eating.

Not at all. Lisbon is great though. The Azores... even better. Such an incredible place.

I love Lisbon. Outro Lado is one of my favorite beer bars on Earth and Ophiussa makes killer beer. Was just curious if I could get a French tick at CdG but I’m guessing not.
