Can we just go to full ABS? The Yankees have challenged 5 pitches for being low and they won them all. Why do they insist on this charade? The ump is humiliated because he’s bad and the Yankee bench is piling on. It’s a constant delay. All of this is easily fixed.

It’ll help Seattle too as the ump obviously is just guessing at low pitches. 4 out of 5 weren’t close (the Stanton one was too close to be challenged).
I just don’t understand why they instituted this half assed measure. Full ABS speeds up the game, it removes the hostility between the umps and players/coaches, and is obviously more accurate. The umps should be all for it since they still need a home plate ump. Maybe mlb just needs to guarantee them they won’t try to low-ball them on the next contract.
I get why people like the system but I feel like since it’s balls and strikes are an objective measurement, there’s no reason to allow human error to be a factor.
Really grinds my gears.
So… the Astros might be good.
