Last night’s beer (a kill shot thread)

I have many questions. But first, was Mostra Tones infected?

Not sure what your other questions are but:

A&T is as good as it's ever been.

Braaaaam is slept on. Should be getting more love. The Verboten Double Oaked Cognac Grow Old with You was equally good/top tier.

Cantillon Gueuze 2020 way more ready to drink than most fresh Cantillon Gueuze.

It was a very good bottle of Triple Bock.

I was expecting 2011 KBS to be a lot worse.

Firmament and Light was perhaps the best peach wild ale I've ever had. Almost imperceptible acidity.

My phone actually has a decent camera but I took a bad picture.

I didn't enjoy that Siren bottle, kinda aspirin-y.

Fun one. The Cantillon gueuze 2001 was the standout, also because of our expectations. The fill level was fucked so we thought we'd just casually drink it and not expect too much, but it was amazing. Ton of carb and amazing minerality, fruitiness, and funk. Really went down the hill after it was open for like 15 minutes though.

The rest was all just very good. Floodland always makes me happy and SNR is never anything less than great. Really the only one that was a disappointment was the mango SARA. Just too much imo.

Share yesterday. Some people thought Supermassive Cafe Deth was the best beer opened.

So was there a blind tasting/winner?

Also, have you tried Mountain Dew? If so, please report.
Lol, i talked about it in the mead thread, but overwhelmingly people preferred B1. I am proud of myself for picking out B2 and Gin blind. Absolutely no one guessed B4 correct. Bourbon doesn’t taste like Bourbon. It just tastes.. odd. Gin smells like breakfast sausage, but I loved it. Way more than any of the other fresh batches.
And I have actually done the blind Mountain Dew tasting at the taste of Chicago. Watermelon is GOAT.
