Home Ownership

Just a quick commentary on selling to home owners. Some of y'all are crazy !

On Monday, I billed out 2 kitchen faucets, 1 bathroom faucet, 1 sink, 1 grid drain, for over $16K !

And I felt a little uncomfortable. I was like : "are you sure about this ? ". Part of that was due to creating new in-house item numbers and placing an order directly from the manufacturer.

But, if waiting 6 weeks and paying that much $ doesn't bother you, go for it !

Are these solid gold?

Our six year old LG washer started leaking. Repair guy says the soap drawer is leaking. We don’t even use the drawer.

Replacement cost $400 plus $100 labor. One year warranty. Or do I drop another grand for a new washer.

Or just handwash my clothes.

You can get a decent washer for $1k?

I would probably do this one repair and then if there are any further issues spring for the new washer. I'm not sure if that makes any logical sense, it's just what I would do.

Front Loader? Is it the drawer itself or the piping/channel beyond the drawer? The drawer should just pop out, no tools needed.
