Josh Jacobs is OUT with toe/ankle problems. Seeing him the other night and hearing them talk about turf toe etc made me worry.

12 team, full PPR. My options from my bench for my last FLEX are:
Ty'Son Williams (RB - BAL)
B. Aiyuk
Tony Pollard

Waiver options:
Tim Patrick
Michael Pittman
Sony Michel
Zach Pascal
Nelson Agholor
Jalen Reagor

Heavily leaning towards picking up, and playing, Tim Patrick and dropping Tony Pollard. Thoughts?

What do we speculate the reason might be?
No reason given and the coach didn't give any indication that it would be just one game:
Flores, asked if Fuller will return to team this season, would not say.

“One day at a time,” Flores said. “He has my support. Things happen. When they happen, they’re not part of normal everyday [circumstances], it’s a surprise from that standpoint. He’s dealing with it. We’ll support him.”
He's such a boom/bust guy I want no part of it. His numbers always look really nice at the end of the season but you've had to put up with two weeks of 3 catches for 10 yards. One healthy scratch (this week). Two games in a row of 10 catches for 200 yards and 3TDs against good defenses only to go into the third game and *&^# the bed again with a 2 catch for 5 yards and a fumble against the worst defense in football. Nope!

I'd consider Patrick, and I think Reagor is an interesting pick up too.

I wish this league had two IR spots like standard Yahoo/ESPN. I've got Michael Thomas stashed on the one IR spot we have in this league. Oh well, I don't know that Tony Pollard is going to help me anytime soon.

The standard in ESPN is now Two IR?!
I very likely could be wrong on that part. I know in the standard public Yahoo league I'm in it is two IR. In my dumb 2 QB league it is ESPN and the commish specifically said he wanted "not the standard ESPN IR count" and has it set at three. I just assumed that he would have just bumped it by one spot, but he very well could have done two.

Gotcha. Part of the reason I joined ESPN was the IR. That's how long ago I joined there...yahoo at the time didn't have it and it was look whoa at the time.

Ain’t gonna lie… Jacobs and Barkley totally scared me in the draft and I skipped them thankfully. I hate it though because in past years I had them, and they were sooo productive.

I would totally pick Patrick… if Denver stays balanced and Bridgewater throws, hes gonna get more than normal targets.

ESPN is 1 IR slot. We've gone years with 0 and have voted to use 1 this year. I think 2 or 3 is insane.
Between COVID and the NFL IR now having a 3 game option, instead of last year's 8 game option, I think either one or two is totally reasonable. It makes the waivers a little more shallow but in the dumb 2 QB league I'm in that has three IR spots, there are only ten teams and there is decent availability on the waivers still.

I would totally be in favor of only allowing one IR spot and one "OUT" designation spot. In the specific case of guys like Josh Jacobs in the ESPN league I'm in, if they have been ruled "OUT" they can go in an IR spot. Jacobs, as of now, is not actually on the IR for the Raiders so I can see the point about that not exactly constituting what the IR is for.

I'd also speculate that we're going to see more players on the three game IR this year. WR has a moderate shoulder injury and the team has a BYE in three/four weeks, put the guy on IR and give him a five week recovery. Just one example.

I wasn't exactly excited to take either but I got Barkley in the late third round in one league and got Jacobs in the sixth and seventh round in two other leagues. I got Chubb as my other RB1 with Barkley and still feel good about that draft pick. Jacobs is the wild card now since it looks to be a turf toe which seems to often linger. Jacobs was my FLEX in those other leagues and I have decent WR depth and now the a couple of the frisco RBs to contend with it now.

And thanks for the second vote on Patrick. Picked him up and he's in the FLEX.

I hate Jacobs for the fact he’s just so primed to go for a fantastic outing two weeks in a row and then all of a sudden goes fragile and you see Q and O with little notice.

I think Barkley will be fine. Slow to start, I expect Daniels to get tired of his shit getting kicked in running and they give it to the guy built for it.

As for Patrick, I would pick him up, I’m just sorta holding Elijah Moore and Mooney for dynasty aspects. I do have Mattison as a “mehh” but need a deep RB for bench purposes.

OK currently rolling with my QB from week 1. Ryan Tannehill but I'm not overly confident in him....at the same time I'm not sure I like any free agent options...

Any thoughts?

Keep him this week at least. Seattle's weakest unit is their CBs, and with Julio and Green out there there's potential to put up some numbers.
