Whipping up a greek salad and sippin on a bangin saison from The Veil.

Fairy hoppy nose full of orange rind, Zinfandel, musty oak, pineapple, and cherry. Bright citrus/tropical acidity hits your tongue quickly and dissipates to a pithy orange rind. Really makes you want to go back for the next sip right away. Wonderful.

First DDT post on DDT!

I'm moving soon, so I was packing my cellar last night. Pulled this off the top shelf and grazed a wire near the ceiling that my wife uses for a clothesline. Cap shot off with a pretty loud bang. I immediately thought the top broke off, but it was still intact. Gushed a little, but only lost a couple ounces. Popped the cap back on and stuck it in the fridge for a couple hours.

Very oxidized, but otherwise pretty similar to how I remember it fresh. Just a hint of tartness, a decent amount of milk chocolate, and just the slightest hint of berry. It was, and still is, a weird beer. One of my last 3 Commons bottles.

This pic is from last night, but I can assure you, I'm drinking the rest of the bottle now and it's still just a carbed as it was in the pic.
