Rye and cumin cocktail to cap a tough day that did not get easier when we almost arrived at dinner and saw Chick-fil-a overrun by one of those “teen mobs” which then almost ran us off the sidewalk. Just as we arrived at the restaurant there was a loud pop I will generously attribute to a M-80. There are still cops on the street corners but we didn’t actually see anything. I work next to “teen mob central” in Chicago and this is the first time I have ever actually seen anything. We are still sitting outside.
