Does FF not ship anymore?
Intra-CT trading must be cutthroat!

I’ll leT you know what I decide. Could always hit up FF first and pick up for you.
I don’t think FF ever shipped? And I’ve just been able to trade Timber stuff for other less local stuff I don’t have time to drive & acquire (FF, HF, etc). That the FF stuff sits online for days/weeks vs the Timber stuff selling out immediately helps me out here.

Looking for suggestions for a good place for lunch on New Haven tomorrow. My wife doesn't want to go near the schools.

September in Bangkok on State Street is my answer. Everything I say from here on is just to give you options. Lots of other restaurants on State Street that could do the trick.

Check the restaurants in East Rock market. You can always grab a beer there or at the brewery. I don’t think the pizza place there is great so you’d be better off with One6Three (but it’s tiny inside for dine in). Atticus Market has good grab and go options, but I’ve never investigated the hot case. Only cold stuff (tofu bahn mi).

If you’re on the other side of town? idk … Camacho Garage for overpriced Mexican.

One of the people I had lunch with today is Thai, he said this was maybe the 5th time he's been to a Thai restaurant in the US. The place was great. Nice day for eating outside, too.

We're flying out of JFK when we go to Japan in February. It's a 10 am flight, so it's not too bad to drive there the morning of the flight, but I wondered if there was a better way to go. Anybody here maybe use a shuttle or something to get to JFK from here?

You could hire a driver (not lyft/uber), that will likely run about $300 each way. I have a couple of recommendations if you are interested. The other thing i've done is grabbed a hotel near JFK and gone down the night before. That way you are where you need to be the morning of the flight.

Has anyone been to the Tree House location in Woodstock and has opinions on the atmosphere? From the pics online, it looks really nice and chill, but maybe there's more to the story. I'm running up to Mass tomorrow and was considering stopping there for a new brewery tick. I realize the draft and to-go menu is just a fraction of what's available at Charlton, but i'm not concerned with that.
I might stop along the shore for some lunch at one of the seafood places prior to that.

Was there a few weeks back mid afternoon on a weekday. There were maybe 6 other people there. There's a small inside space with maybe 4-6 tables from memory and then a larger outside sitting area with a dozen picnic tables and a Adirondack chairs overlooking the pond. We had a beer and walked the trails through the orchards and fields which was nice.

Can't speak to weekends but seemed like during the week it was very chill.

thanks. it looks like a pretty nice play to sit and have a beer outside, and the weather tomorrow should be really nice.

So, sameasiteverwas , you liked Berlinetta ? I have consumed 1 of their beers, a pils, I believe. How was the space itself, I know they focus on playing music in addition to serving beer, sometimes bringng in musicians.

And if you end up checking out Woodstock, interested in hearing more feedback. I plan on getting out there at some point. The drawback it's on the complete opposite corner of Connecticut. Charlton MA site has the same exact drive time of 2 hours & has a much larger list of available beers
