This is only 1 of 2 cigars I've smoked and distinctly disliked. The one I had was all spicy green pepper and I had to set it down and find something else.

Agree. I didn't hate it but it was a disappointment. Uneven flavors and way to spicy on the back half.

Ave Maria Immaculata. Mild but with some nice earthiness and coffee. A nice midday smoke.

Unfortunately, the first rule of Cigar club is that you can't take anything to go....

Returned on Monday night for a few more sticks....

Ending up starting with a short H. Upmann Cubana... Which was a rich robust leathery smoke... I chose it while waiting for friends... But ended up finishing with a second before I left....


Then kept things going with an old favorite... Partagas Serie D...

Flor de Castillo. Started off pepper but really smoothed out after the first third. Earthiness and cacao. Great burn and drawn. Superbly maintained.

Like when Jerry bought the suede jacket, I paid what it cost. Partagas D 4’s are my favorite and I only have a few days before returning to our skid mark of a country where I can’t really get them.

Vega Fina Dominican. Picked some of these up cheap in Vietnam. Not as good as the Ecuadorian. Nice coffee notes but a tight draw.
