Membership Renewal Season

Deep Woods renewal is next week.

They are offering two tiers: base, and all-in with the Booster Pack (aka Four Tallboyz of the Apocalypse) included.

I would pay an extra $50 for a third tier where they don't send their long-winded emails.

I need to get to drinking my 2025 beers faster

I’ll ask some of the folks at 12% next time I’m there. His email from last June mentioned a LOT of barrels and maybe suggests we’re still owed something? Best I can tell after that email he released the Epochs to us & then 12% released a stout that was aged in a Willet Family Estate bourbon barrel (Deposition).

I'm 80% confident it will close by EOY. It's always dead. I haven't been to the other locations often in the past few years, but I imagine SARA is struggling as a whole, given how many people ditched the club and how the bottom fell out of the sour market.

So true that the sour market bottomed out. I find myself buying Casey IPAs now more than their sours.
I still enjoy sours but they do not always agree with me now a days. Getting old sucks.

I split my membership and don't get extras of anything. Between that and FW, I have more than enough. I've drank maybe 15 full beers this year?

nah there pizza place is thriving. pizza is slightly expensive but it's always packed with families and kids running around. I refuse to go there now as it's just super annoying. The OG spot is still a great visit and they always have great pop ups for food. It's just really far out there in the middle of nowhere.

I’m paraphrasing NSXr8ted but the summary of a recent trip was, the large majority of NE beer we drank from lagers, IPAs, and saisons were all pretty amazing. I believe the quote was along the lines of, “it’s not that I don’t like saisons, Sante just can’t make them anymore”.

Yup. You added the "anymore" that I dropped, but that's exactly it. Kinda nice to have that clarity, since I've been thinking for 6+ months that I simply hate all beer. Turns out, I do not.
