Thank you! I dont know that I will ever find my way out there but it has been marked on my map in case I ever do.R&H Chinese Food in the Landsdowne Center Food Court in Richmond, British Columbia. We go every summer on our way into Vancouver.
I had my mother's old one from the '80's. Worked just fine...no one would buy it. Ended up giving it away. Had all the meat grinder attachments and everything.

550W is more than half 970W. Not sure what they teach in either Texas or Florida. And you claim you can crunch numbers?
that's wild. Mom used that meat grinder regularly...usually with partially frozen meat. She had also had a cranberry salad recipe using a bunch of frozen fruit to grind. If you actually want to grind meat you should get a meat grinder and not use the kitchen aid attachment at all. It burns out the motor. Even on the pro grade ones.
I have not read the same about the other attachments but even for as little as I use my stand alone meat grinder I think it is fantastic. Should make more breakfast sausage.
Maybe it’s just the modern enshittified ones but I have read that more than once. I have had to replace one ice cream maker bowl because the first one was so well used it cracked and leaked. I don’t make pasta from scratch so I never bothered with that one. But mine is a refurb and works like a champ. Knead lots of dough.that's wild. Is thermapen still the best instant read thermometer for cooking?
I was changing the battery in my workhorse this morning and a component off the circuit board fell off and now it is dead. Spring sale helps, but would like to make sure before plunking down a hundred on a thermometer.
