Where did you end up staying in Takayama? There’s a brewery near the recreation Hida Village and then two craft beer bars in town. A very very good sake brewer as well if I can remember the name

Anyway, this is a cocktail made with the farm's La Verte, aka their version of Chartreuse. It's herby and tasty. It's called the Last Worm, hence the worm.

Maybe it's always been that then. I met him awhile ago and he wasn't exactly the best to talk to (read: a smarmy asshole) so I stoppped paying attention pretty quickly.

For the record, never met him. I only follow his social media since finding out about 8 or so years ago. There are also a few collabs with The Seed where I know they were true brew collabs, not some phone call recipe swap. Sorry you had a bad experience.
