Vinyl and Beer

I’m With Her’s first live album. Opens with an absolute banger and Overland I could listen to anytime.
Now that I finished the playthrough. This is my first eco-vinyl purchase and I think I placed the pre-order before we discussed the medium. It looks pretty and my only real complaint on this pressing is the innermost tracks sound muddy about halfway through, as though they were mastered from 90s era digital recordings that were never meant to be pressed to vinyl. Because I’m With Her is an acoustic bluegrass supergroup with powerful vocal harmonies it is immediately noticeable when it starts. A noisier album might not be as quick to catch but this is such a clean, crisp sound otherwise throughout that this one fault with the pressing stands out. Otherwise a really lovely recording.

I haven't had much luck with eco-vinyl but supposedly there are different varieties out there which has an impact on the sound quality.

Back in the day there was a plant in Chicago called Precision that used to grind up old records to make pellets. You could see bits of the previous labels in the grooves sometimes.
