Well, it's officially the 2026 league year. And much like last year at this time, Aaron Rodgers is not a Steeler.

Am I the only one who thinks that package is aggressive for him? He's a good player, but it feels like a lot.

Agree it’s aggressive. But so what? I don’t understand the way the value of draft picks has inflated over the past decade or two. They are just lottery tickets.

No one from the Steelers ‘22 class is even on the team anymore. I’d have traded that whole fucking slew of draft picks for Waddle. Yes there are other factors involved. Like Colberts lame duck GM status and Art having Kenny Pickett-colored glasses. But still. Go get a good established playmaker instead of a bunch of question marks. A bird in the hand and all that.

That’s fair. Especially for a roster that doesn’t have many obvious holes.
