Keep seeing this album popping up all over the place. Not normally my sort of thing but it's a hell of a grower. Lyrically very strong too.

(OceanOfMead - your kind of thing perhaps?).

Spinning records right now bur I’ll give it a listen later. I have’t seen it pop up at all that I recall.

No Seattle or Portland. Closest show is in Bend on a Wednesday. Getting to Bend in good traffic takes six hours.

They’ve only got one Canadian date announced and seeing how they’re a Canadian trifecta of 00s indie bands I’m guessing a Vancouver show will be announced in the future. Or maybe we’re just shut out.

Anyway, I heard this yesterday on The Roadhouse (KEXP's Americana, Country, R&B, etc. show), and I've now listened to it at least a dozen times since. All the singles she's released so far have been good to great, but this is the best one. She was great live opening for Rilo Kiley last spring too. Can't wait to hear more.
