I’d be more willing to drop money on such thins than a concert and I love music. I spent a good amount on the best tickets for Hamilton in London a few months ago and I’d do it again.

He’a 84, I don’t think I’ll get another chance to see him. I was expecting them to be pricy, but they were a bit above what I was expecting. I got really good seats. I just paused before hitting purchase. I spent less than I was expecting for the Suzy Eddie Izzard show at the same venue two weeks before so it almost balances. Apparently a good event at Chicago Shakespeare Theater is how you get locals to show up to Navy Pier.

Kevin McDonald (center) performed his rock opera at Clinton Street Theater last night. That was fun. He popped into Dots afterwards but left before I could tell him I always thought he pulled off dressed the best of any of The Kids in the Hall.

Well enjoy that. I saw him in London like 20 years ago and I think about one scene all the time still. Can’t remember what play (a nautical title I think) it was but one scene stays with me.

I'm gonna try for Portland tickets in about an hour, but I'm not hopeful. The venue they're playing (Revolution Hall) is around 800 capacity. So not only will the chances of getting tix during the general on-sale be super low, but I'm sure secondary prices will be $$$$.

I think we are just driving there and back from my friends place in Seattle they are moving into this week
